Competitive Stubbornness

Lisa hasn't been properly satisfied in four months.

Five bad dates. One burnt-out toys. A string of women who treat foreplay like a skippable tutorial. She shows up at her best friend Tucker's door in mascara-streaked ruins, and by the third glass of wine, he says the quiet part out loud: If that's all you're after, I can handle that.
